Beyond the resort

Lete sits on the Beni–Jomsom road, with some of Nepal's best-known places a drive away. It is also a handy stop for self-driving visitors, a growing group in Mustang.

Next-door villages on the same road. Kalopani lies just north of Lete and the two have grown into one settlement. Ghasa is to the south.
One of the world's best-known trekking routes passes through this region.

Lete is at roughly 2,400 to 2,500 metres. Pack warm layers for the evenings in every season. If you continue to Muktinath (around 3,800 m), allow time to adjust. Ask the resort about payment methods and mobile coverage before you travel.
